LANCASTER, Pa. (November 18th, 2023) - Mount St. Mary's swim and dive competed in the first ten events of the Franklin and Marshall Invitational yesterday. The men's team is currently in seventh place with a gross team score of 136, while the women's team is in tenth place with a team score of 64 points.

Per the men's side, the team added its first points in the 500-Yard Freestyle as
John Baroody placed 19th with a finals time of 4:53.38, while
John Fahrney finished 24th with a finals time of 5:00.29.
John Kaiser added 12 points to the board with a 15th place finish in the 200-IM with a finals time of 1:59.16. The men's best finish as a team was a tenth-place nod in the 200-freestyle relay raced by
Timmy Bonner,
Alex Henager,
Nicholas Fox, and
John Haskins and earning 34 points for their squad.
The women's team struggled to find points as they were finishing just outside of the top 24, those being the placements that earn your team points. The team events are where the women succeeded as
Juliana Yates,
Aracelli Skiles,
Sofia Allison, and
Elizabeth Horner added the team's first 30 points to the board with a 12th place finish in the 400-Medley Relay with a time of 4:08.17. The team added 34 additional points in the 200-Freestyle Relay with a 15th and 20th place finish.
Swimming continues today as the finals are scheduled for 6 p.m.
