CARLISLE, Pa. (October 14th, 2023) – Mount St. Mary's men's golf was able to finish the rescheduled Dickinson Invitational today at the Carlisle Barracks Golf Club. The team finished tied for third with a gross score of 297 (+9).
Aaron Sorkin was declared today's individual champion on a match of six cards from the final six holes as the scores were tied through the final three holes, Sorkin finished first with a score of 68 (-4).
Millersville University won the tournament with a final par score of 288, while the next closest competitor was Franklin & Marshall's B team with a gross score of 296 (+8).
Nathan Pheng finished tied for 12
th with a final score of 75 (+3), while
Martin Hurtado tied for 19
th with a final score of 76 (+4).
Tyler Kimble and
Fisher Coleman-Sayer made their Mountaineer debuts today as Kimble finished tied for 38
th with a final score of 78 (+6), while Coleman-Sayer finished tied for 67
th with a final score of 88 (+16).
