Emmitsburg, Md. (September 25, 2022) – Freshmen tandem Jennifer Sorkin and Naomi Yacyshen were among the Mountaineers' top competitors at the Bucknell Invitational. Jennifer Sorkin finished in second place after three consecutive rounds of 75 with a final score of 225 (+15), while Naomi Yacyshen finished in third place with a final score of 226 (+16). The Mountaineers finished in an impressive second place with a total team score of 920 (+80).
 
Tara Thomas of Bucknell University finished in first place among the individual leaderboards with a final score of 216 (+6), helping her team finished first overall.
 
Freshman Makensy Knaub finished in 11^th place after shooting a total score 234 (+24), while freshman Chloe Sipe finished tied for 14^th with a total score of 238 (+28). Sophomore Erika Cui finished tied for 14^th with a total score of 238 (+28), while graduate student Michaila Cheung finished in 32^nd place with a total score of 257 (+47). Freshman Allie Sexton tied for 33^rd with a total score of 259 (+49). Senior Taylor Woodward finished in 43^rd place with a total score of 288 (+78), while senior Olivia Block finished in 46^th with a total score of 302 (+92).

The Mountaineers travel to Annapolis, Md. At the USNA Golf Course to compete in the Navy Fall Invitational on October 1.
