Emmitsburg, Md. (September 23, 2022) – Mount St. Mary's women's rugby is coming off a tough loss to Harvard a week ago. Today, the Mountaineers came out swinging as by halftime they were leading by a commanding 17-0. Strong defense prevailed for the Mountaineers, winning the game 24-14.

- 32 seconds into the game Sankara Price dashes down the right sideline for the first try of the game (5-0).
- A minute and a half later (2:10) Sankara Price chose the same alley for another score; assisted by Jalana Jade Garcia (10-0).
- At 31:10 Kameka President races down the middle of the field, through multiple defenders, for the Mountaineers' third try of the game (17-0).
- 10 minutes into the second half Kameka President glides down the left side of the field untouched for her second score of the game (24-0).
- Virginia Women's Rugby came alive in the second half scoring two near the end of the game, it was too late for Virginia to make a comeback losing 24-14.
