Emmitsburg, Md. (September 20^th, 2022) – Sophomore Ben Smith put together yet another outstanding performance as he finishes the day shooting 5 under with a score of 66. Smith shot very well all tournament as he finished tied for fourth place with a final score of 208 (-8). The Mountaineers fought hard and well; finishing tied for seventh place to Sacred Heart with a total team score of 868 (+4) through three rounds.
 
UCF placed first at the Hartford Hawks Invitational with a total team score of a stout 829 (-35). Luis Carrera of UCF placed first on the individual leader boards with a total score of 200 (-16).
 
Junior Hank Schaefer finished tied for 16^th with a final score of 216 which broke even, while sophomores Devin Smith and Aaron Sorkin finished tied for 49^th with a final score of 222 (+6). Graduate student Matthew Kinsey finished tied for 66^th with a final score of 226 (+10), while graduate student Michael Robinson finished in 94^th with a final score of 247 (+31).
