EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 11, 2022) – Senior Michael Robinson shot a tournament-best 66 (-6) in the second round to have a total of 143 (-1) to finish tied for 5th place at the Abarta Coca-Cola Invitational. The Mount St. Mary's men's golf team shoots a combined score of 287 (-1) today to have a final score of 588 (+12) to be in fourth place.
 
Iona won the team competition after beating Lafayette in a playoff, shooting a combined score of 580 (+4), while Iona's Justin Burkhamer won the player competition, shooting a score of 138 (-6).
 
Sophomore Hank Schaefer finished tied for 31st place with a total of 148 (+4), while junior Sergio Quijano Sanin shot a 73 (+1) today to have a final score of 149 (+5) to finish tied for 39th place. Senior Matthew Kinsey tied for 52nd place after shooting a total score of 151 (+7), while freshman Devin Smith scored a 73 (+1) to have a total of 155(+11) to finish tied for 80th place to round out the Mountaineers.
 
The Mount will compete in the NEC Championship from April 29-May 1.
