EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 27, 2022) – Senior Matthew Kinsey finished with a total score of 144 (E), while the Mount St. Mary's men's golf team tied for tenth place in the team competition with a combined score of 605 (+29).
 
Rhode Island won the team competition with a combined score of 575 (-1), while Rhode Island's Jordan Brajicich and Cornell's Samuel King won the player leaderboard, shooting a final score of 140 (-4).
 
Senior Michael Robinson tied for 14th place with a total score of 147 (+3). Junior Sergio Quijano Sanin finished tied for 64th place with a score of 154 (+10). Freshman Devin Smith had a score of 156 (+12) to finish tied for 74th place, and sophomore Hank Schaefer shot a final score of 158 (+14) to be tied for 83rd place. Junior Mitchell Gallo rounded out the Mountaineers with a 168 (+24) to be tied for 113th place.
 
The Mount will head to Hellertown, Pa., to compete in the Abarta Coca-Cola Collegiate Invitational at the Steel Club on April 10-11.
