Devin Smith is tied for 11th place after shooting a 74 (+2), while the Mount St. Mary's men's golf team had three teams compete today, with the teams finishing in 12th, 13th, and 14th place. The first team shot a 310 (+22), while the second team shot a 319 (+31), with the third team tallying a 336 (+48)
Rhode Island leads the team competition after the first round, shooting 291 (+3), while Rhode Island's Brandon Gillis and RMU's Josh Nagy are tied atop of the player leaderboard with a score of 69 (-3).
Senior
Matthew Kinsey registered a 76 (+4) to be tied for 30th place. Sophomore
Hank Schaefer and freshman
Aaron Sorkin tied for 38th place, shooting a 78 (+6) after the first round. Senior
Michael Robinson shot an 80 (+8) to be tied for 55th place. Juniors
Sergio Quijano Sanin and
Mitchell Gallo, with seniors
Jack Snyder and
Joshua Brown, all shot a score of 81 (+9) to be tied for 62nd place. Junior
Joseph O'Malley finished with an 83 (+11) tied for 71st place. Senior
Pablo Alonso shot an 85 (+13) to be tied in 76th place. Sophomore
Juan Fradera 86 (+14) to be tied in 78th place. Senior
Jack Straub finished in 80th place, shooting 87 (+15), while junior
Devin Peart shot 91 (+19) to be in 82nd place. Junior
Jack Strame shot a 100 (+28) to finish in 83rd place to round out the Mountaineers.
