Mount Men’s Cross Country Finishes 23rd at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional

EMMITSBURG, Md. (November 11, 2022) – Led by senior John Wang, the Mount men's cross country team finished 23rd at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional in State College, Pennsylvania.
 
Wang finished with a time of 33:07.1 to come in 130th place, earning 129 points thanks to an unassigned runner crossing the finish line ahead of him.
 
A trio of Mountaineers were trailing just behind Wang. Kevin Zaleski finished second among the team, earning a time of 33:13.8 to end in 135th place. Michael Chipi (33:15.3, 137th) and Paul Fagnano (33:18.2, 138th) rounded out the group.
 
Brendan Duff (35:45.6, 177th) and John Ruona (35:53.9, 179th) completed the times for the Mount.
 
Villanova won the men's event with a total of 36 points.
 
The event put the finishing touches on the 2022 men's cross country season.
