Emmitsburg, Md (October 9, 2022) – The Mountaineers men's golf team are currently tied for sixth place after day one with a team score of 295 (+15). Junior Hank Schaefer is the top performer for the Mountaineers following the first day shooting a 71 (+1).
 
Rider is in first on top of the team leaderboards shooting a 287 (+7). Ryan Edholm of Canisius College is atop the individual leaderboards shooting a 67(+3).
 
Sophomore Devin Smith is currently tied for 18 with a score of 73 (+3), while sophomore Aaron Sorkin is tied for 35^th with a score of 74 (+4). Junior Ben Smith is currently tied for 62^nd with a score of 77 (+7), while graduate student Michael Robinson is tied for 94^th with a score of 85 (+15). The Mountaineers brought two solo golfers; senior Mitchell Gallo is currently tied for 18^th with a score of 73 (+3), while junior Juan Fradera is tied for 62^nd with a score of 77 (+7).
