Ben Smith continued to pace the Mount St. Mary's men's golf team at the competitive Ka'anapali Classic Collegiate Invitational hosted by the University of Hawai'i. On a windy day that saw difficult conditions, Smith shot an even par 71 to remain -2 for the tournament to lead the Mountaineers on the second day of the tournament.
Smith has a two-day total of 140 to put himself in a tie for 24
th on the individual leaderboard. On the team side, 11
th ranked Oklahoma leads the field of 20 teams that features six ranked in the top 50 in the nation with a score of 546. East Tennessee State (552), Clemson (553), Liberty (555) and Kansas (556) round out the top five. The Mountaineers are in 19
th place with a two-day total of 505 after a round of 305 tod

Aaron Sorkin had a 76 today for a two-day total of 149,
Hank Schaefer shot a 78 for a two-day mark of 152 and
Devin Smith shot an 80 for a two-day score of 154.
Matthew Kinsey shot an 83 today for a two-day total of 267 while
Michael Robinson, competing as an individual, shot a 77 for a two-day total of 157.
The tournament concludes with 18 holes tomorrow with a 2:00 p.m. (ET) shotgun start.
