Charlottesville, Va. (October 20, 2022)--The Mount doubles duo of Jarrett Karnibad and Filippos Zachiotis came away with a big win on Thursday to advance to the Silver Bracket in doubles play at the IT Athlatic Regional Championship hosted by the University of Virginia.  The duo was edged in Friday's matchup.

Karnibad and Zachiotis advanced in the bronze draw in doubles with an 8-7 (7-0) win over Davis Wiley and Joshn Walsh of Richmond.  With the win, the duo qualified for the silver draw in doubles where they were edged by James Madison's Edson Sanchez and Julian Lozano, 8-6, on Friday night.

In singles consolations on Thursday, Christos Dagklis defeated Villanova's Justin Suarez (6-1, 6-4), Elliot Stevens fell to Richmond's Alaister Burke (6-2, 6-4), Karnibad lost to Duquesne's Liam Wickwire (6-1, 6-1) and Luke Papayoanou lost to Navy's Anitketh Ayinala (6-1, 6-1).
