Emmitsburg, Md. (Oct. 1, 2022) – Freshman Naomi Yacyshen is leading the Mountaineers after their first round of golf at the Navy Fall Invitational. Yacyshen is currently tied for fourth place with a score of 74 (+2), only 5 strokes from first. Mount St. Mary's women's golf currently sits atop the leader boards in fourth place with a team score of 308 (+20).
 
Navy is currently in first place with a team score of 301 (+13) thanks to Mara Hirtle who sits in third place shooting 73 (+1). Emily Byrne of Long Island University is currently in first on the individual leader boards shooting 69 (-3).
 
Sophomore Erika Cui is tied for 17^th shooting 77 (+5), while freshman Jennifer Sorkin is tied for 23^rd shooting 78 (+6). Freshman Makensy Knaub is tied for 29^th shooting 79 (+7), while freshman Chloe Sipe is tied for 48^th shooting 82 (+10). Our solo golfers for the day are Graduate Student Michaila Cheung who is tied for 48^th shooting 82 (+10), while freshman Allie Sexton is tied for 81^st shooting 91 (+19).
