Michael Robinson shoots a 72 in the second and third round to have a total score of 220 (+4) to finish tied for 24th place at the Hartford Hawks Invitational. The Mount St. Mary's men's golf team finished in 9th place after shooting a combined score of 896 (+32).
UCF wins the team competition shooting a combined score of 829 (-35), shooting a 275 (-13) in the second round, and a 270 (-18) in the final round. UCF's Johnny Travale wins the individual competition after shooting a 64 (-8) in the final round to have a total score of 205 (-11).
Sophomore
Hank Schaefer finished tied for 37th place after shooting a total score of 223 (+7) with a team-best 71 (-1) in the second round and a 74 (+2) in the third round. Freshman
Aaron Sorkin finished tied for 58th place after shooting a 73 (+1) and a 78 (+6) today to have a final score of 229 (+13). Freshman
Devin Smith finished tied for 64th place, shooting an 81 (+9) and 74 (+2) on the second day to have a two-day total of 230 (+14). Sophomore
Juan Fradera shot a final score of 232 (+16) to finish tied for 75th place after shooting an 82 (+10) and a 76 (+4). Junior
Mitchell Gallo finished tied for 85th place after shooting a total score of 236 (+20) after shooting a 79 (+7) and a 78 (+6) on the final day.
Tomorrow, the Mount men's golf team competes against McDaniel at the South Hills Golf Club in Hanover, Pa.
