Juan Fradera shoots a first-round score of 74 (+2) to be tied in 28th place at the Hartford Hawks Invitational. The Mount St. Mary's men's golf team shoots a combined score of 303 (+15) to be in ninth place after darkness halts play during the second round.
UCF leads the team leaderboard after 18 holes shooting a combined score of 284 (-4), while UCF's Nicholas Estrada and Sacred Heart's Marcus Lim lead the player leaderboard after the first day of competition shooting a score of 68 (-4).
Freshman
Devin Smith is tied for 39th place after shooting a 75 (+3) on the first day of competition, while senior
Michael Robinson sits tied for 52nd place, shooting a first-round score of 76 (+4). Sophomore
Hank Schaefer and freshman
Aaron Sorkin shot a first-round score of 78 (+6) to sit tied for 76th place. Junior
Mitchell Gallo scored a 79 (+7) to sit tied for 86th place to round out the Mountaineers.
The Mount wraps up the Hartford Hawks Invitational tomorrow, teeing off at 8:00 a.m.
