Hank Schaefer shoots a 74 (+3) in the third round to have a final score of 215 (+2) to finish tied for 14th place at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational, while the Mount St. Mary's men's golf team finished in 10th place after shooting a combined score of 889 (+37).
Marshall wins the team competition shooting a combined score of 845 (-7), while Wright State's Tyler Goecke wins the individual competition after shooting a 68 (-3) to have a total score of 205 (-8).
Sophomore
Juan Fradera finished tied for 33rd place after shooting a 72 (+1) on the final day to have a total score of 221 (+8), while freshman
Aaron Sorkin finished tied for 42nd place after shooting a 74 (+3) today to have a final score of 223 (+10) in his first tournament as a Mountaineer. Freshman
Devin Smith finished tied for 60th place, shooting a 74 (+3) on the second day to have a three-day total of 225 (+12). Senior
Michael Robinson shot a final score of 228 (+15) to finished tied for 72nd place after shooting a 76 (+5) in his final round. Freshman
Devin Peart finished tied for 87th place after shooting a total score of 236 (+23) after shooting an 80 (+9) on the final day.
The Mount men's golf team heads to South Kent, Connecticut, to compete in the Hartford Hawks Invitational at the Bull's Bridge Golf Club on September 20-21.
