BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (April 5, 2021) – Mount St. Mary's men's soccer came into Monday with a slim chance to make it into the Northeast Conference Championship. Those hopes were dashed by the Long Island Sharks in a 4-0 defeat.
The game belonged to the Sharks (3-1-2), who dominated in the shot chart 16-3.
Juan Molina fired two of the three shots for the Mount (1-5-2), with
Karamo Bah supplying the third. Two shots were on goal, but both were turned aside by LIU netminder Demetri Skoumbakis.
Jonas Dovland scored twice for Long Island, with Emil Jaaskelainen and Assane Ben Fall contributing the other two. The Sharks evenly divided their goals with two in each half.
For the Mount, keeper

With pride on the line, Mount St. Mary's challenges Fairleigh Dickinson in the season finale April 12
th in Hackensack, New Jersey.
