MOUNT MEN RESULTS
The Mount St. Mary's men's swimming and diving team was defeated by Loyola 155-113 on Saturday afternoon in Baltimore. Highlights from today's action included Will Twizell's first place finish (26.12) and John Wilson's second-place finish (26.65) in the 50-yard breaststroke, Luke Davis' mark of 29.96 for the victory in the 100-yard backstroke, and John Mata's (23.10) and Peter Jones' (23.62) one-two finish in the 50-yard butterfly.
MOUNT WOMEN RESULTS
The Mount St. Mary's women's swimming and diving team suffered the same fate as the men's team, losing to the Greyhounds by a score of 168-100. Highlights from the women's meet included Kira Buchler's first place finish in the 100-yard backstroke (59.40), Valeria Villagran's (26.65) and Juliet Whitman's (28.36) one-two finish in the 500-yard butterfly, and Peyton Fuller's (178.05) and Montanna Griffith's one-two finish in the one-meter diving event.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
The Mountaineer's meet against Loyola wraps up the regular season for 2019-20 campaign. The team will prep for the Northeast Conference Championships held on February 19-22 at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, New York.
