MOUNT MEN RESULTS
The Mount St. Mary's men's swimming and diving team was defeated by Loyola 155-113 on Saturday afternoon in Baltimore. Highlights from today's action included Will Twizell's first place finish (26.12) and John Wilson's second-place finish (26.65) in the 50-yard breaststroke, and John Mata's (23.10) and Peter Jones' (23.62) one-two finish in the 50-yard butterfly.
MOUNT WOMEN RESULTS
The Mount St. Mary's women's swimming and diving team suffered the same fate as the men's team, losing to the Greyhounds by a score of 168-100. Highlights from the women's meet included Kira Buchler's first place finish in the 100-yard backstroke (59.40), Valeria Villagran's (26.65) and Juliet Whitman's (28.36) one-two finish in the 50-yard butterfly, and Peyton Fuller's (178.05) and Montanna Griffith's (162.45) one-two finish in the one-meter diving event.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
The Mountaineer's meet against Loyola wraps up the regular season for 2019-20 campaign. The women will prep for the Northeast Conference Championships at the Nassau County Aquatic Center in East Meadow, New York and the men will get ready for the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Championship in Knoxville, Tennessee. Both meets will run from February 19th-22nd.
