SENIOR DAY
Mount St. Mary's will honor eleven seniors from both the men's and women's swimming teams with a ceremony prior to Friday's meet. Victoria Aung, Maggie DeTar, Peyton Fuller, Laura Kingham, Brianna Rizzo, Colette Robinson, Brock Cudahy, Matt Hart, Andrew Jones, Will Twizell, and Matt Wehmeyer will be recognized for their contributions to the swimming & diving program and the university throughout their time at the Mount.
MOUNT UPDATE
The Mount swimming and diving teams return to action for the first time since November 24th at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational. The women's team had a strong finish at the invitational coming in fifth place with 694 team points. Kira Buchler finished 1st in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:05.75. Eliza Felos followed up Buchler's performance with a first-place finish of her own in the second heat of the 200-yard backstroke (2:10.75). Juliet Whitman placed 1st in the 200-yard butterfly with a 2:13.86 mark.
On the men's side, Will Twizell placed first in the 200-yard breaststroke with a mark of 2:01.93 while Brock Cudahy placed second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 47.67. Alex Henager had a strong day with a time of 1:59.61 in the 200-yard backstroke to place first. The men's team finished in third place with 1,155 points at the invitational.

WOMEN'S PRESEASON POLLS
Mount St. Mary's women's swimming and diving team was picked to finish 8th in the annual Northeast Conference preseason polls. Bryant was selected as the favorite to win the conference as they are looking for their third straight NEC title.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
The Mount swimming and diving teams will return to action on February 1st for their final dual meet at Loyola.
