ABOUT THE MOUNT
The Mount's roster consists of 12 freshmen, 14 sophomores, three juniors, three seniors, and two graduate students. Head Coach Farrah Douglas returns for her third season after leading the Mountaineers to the NIRA Tier II Championship last year. The squad also welcomes back two NIRA Tier II All-Americans from the 2018 fall season. Jordan Butcher and Maya Grassi were named NIRA Tier II All-Americans while Julie Crochet was tabbed as NIRA Tier II All-American Honorable Mention.
In Mount St. Mary's second season as a Division I program, the Mountaineers finished the fall 15's season with a 7-3 record, and a 32-14 mark for the whole year. The Mount topped off the fall season by defeating Sacred Heart 22-15 to claim the NIRA Tier II Cup Championship. Looking forward to this season, Mount St. Mary's was picked second in the NIRA Tier II Coaches' Preseason Poll.
SCOUTING THE YELLOW JACKETS
The Yellow Jackets were picked to finish first in TIER II Coaches' Preseason Poll. In 2018, the Yellow Jackets finished the 15's season with a 6-4 record and a 15-16 mark for the whole year. To end their fall season, American International fell to Harvard in the Tier I NIRA Championship Quarterfinals 56-7. This will be the first ever meeting between the Mountaineers and the Yellow Jackets.

The Mount will head to Charlotte, North Carolina to take on Queens College on Saturday, September 21st at 12 p.m. at Queens Sports Complex.
