Emmitsburg, Md. (September 28, 2019) – The Mount women's rugby team tallied ten points in the NIRA standings after Long Island University and Molloy College forfeited due to lack of players. The schools played exhibition matches with each team playing twelve players on the field. In the exhibition matches, the Mount topped LIU 62-17 while losing to Molloy 38-15.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jalana Garcia led the Mountaineers with four tries and a pair of conversion kicks to go along with it.
- Julie Crochet, Lavona Aromin, Hannah Orland, Tiara Mason, and Emma Jacobs each had a try.
- Orland converted on a kick while Maya Grassi was 3-for-5 on conversion kicks.
- Tiara Gillet led the Sharks with two tries while Janine Gelles converted on three kicks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Kaitlyn Snyder led the Lions with three tries of her own while Olivia Sturiano made three conversion kicks.
- Colleen Elliot added two tries of her own to lead the Lions to the victory.
- Nancy Ryan, Lavona Aromin, and Abby Osterhaus tallied a try for the Mountaineers.
