NIRA TIER II STANDINGS

MOUNT UPDATE
The Mountaineers are coming off their first NIRA Tier II loss of the fall 15's season. Queens (N.C.) used a big second half to top the Mount 46-12 this past weekend. Five different players scored tries for the Royals while Allie English converted on four conversion kicks. Julie Crochet and Jalana Garcia each had a try for the Mountaineers. This win propelled the Royals atop the NIRA Tier II standings at 3-0.

SCOUTING LONG ISLAND
The Sharks have dropped three straight NIRA Tier II matches to begin the 2019 campaign. Their losses come at the hands of Brown, Sacred Heart, and Queens. Long Island is led by freshman Haniyah Baugh who has two tries on the year while senior Janine Gelles has converted on 5-of-7 kicks. This will be the first ever matchup between the Mountaineers and the Sharks.

SCOUTING MOLLOY
The Lions have begun the fall 15's season with a 1-2 mark. Molloy dropped their first two matches to Colby-Sawyer College and Army. They earned their first win of the season against Castleton University 22-5. The Lions are looking to avenge a 69-0 loss to the Mountaineers last year.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE
The Mount women's rugby team will resume action Sunday, October 6th against West Chester on Echo Field.
