Men's Golf Sits in Seventh Place Following Opening Day of Towson Invitational

Grasonville, Md. (April 6, 2019) – The Mount St. Mary's men's golf team sits in a tie for seventh place following the opening day of the Towson Invitational from Prospect Bay Country Club. The Mountaineers fired a team score of 303 on Saturday.

Nacho Gomez led the Mount on day one with an opening round of 73 (+1). Gomez is tied for ninth on the individual leaderboard. Pablo Alonso finished just behind Gomez with a 74 (+2), and sits in a tie for 15th place.

Michael Robinson fired a 77 (+5), Matt Kinsey shot a 79 (+7) and Jack Snyder registered an 84 (+12) to round out the scoring for the Mountaineers.

Mount St. Mary's closes things out with the final round tomorrow (April 7), beginning at 8 a.m.
