RESULTS

Annapolis, Md. (April 19, 2019) -- The Mount St. Mary's men's golf team finished in 13th place at the Navy Spring Invitational from the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club. The Mountaineers registered team rounds of 309 (+25) and 322 (+38) for a two-round total of 631 (+63) at the tournament.

Lafayette won the event with a team score of 591 (+23), while Binghamton took second with a 594 (+26) and Navy finished third with a 599 (+31).

Nacho Gomez posted the Mount's top individual finish, placing 21st on the individual leaderboard. Gomez fired rounds of 77 (+6) and 74 (+3) for a total of 151 (+9).

Matt Kinsey was next up for the Mountaineers with a two-round total of 159 (+17) to finish in a tie for 54th. Kinsey followed up his 77 (+6) on Friday with a final round of 82 (+11) on Saturday.

Pablo Alonso scored rounds of 78 (+7) and 84 (+13) to total a 162 (+20), Jack Snyder registered an 81 (+10) and 82 (+11) for a 163 (+21), and Michael Robinson posted a 77 (+6) and 87 (+16) for a 164 (+22) to round out the scoring. 

The Mount will head to the Northeast Conference Championships on April 26-28 at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Florida.
