Annapolis, Md. (April 19, 2019) -- The Mount St. Mary's men's golf team sits in 12th place following the opening round of the Navy Spring Invitational on Friday at the U.S. Naval Academy Golf Club. The Mountaineers posted a team score of 309 (+25) during the first round.

Michael Robinson, Nacho Gomez and Matt Kinsey all fired an opening round of 77 (+6) on Friday, as the trio of Mountaineers are currently in a tie for 31st place on the individual leaderboard.

Pablo Alonso shot a 78 (+7) in his opening round, and Jack Snyder registered an 81 (+10) to round out the team's scoring.

The Mountaineers conclude play with the final round tomorrow (April 20).
