RESULTS
Daytona Beach, Fla. (March 5, 2019) – The Mount St. Mary's men's golf team rounded out the final day of the Lonnie Barton Invitational from LPGA International on Tuesday. The Mountaineers placed 18th at the tournament with a two-round team score of 645.
Bethune-Cookman took home the title with a 584 (+8), besting second place competitor North Alabama by 20 strokes. North Alabama finished with a 604 (+28), while Longwood took third with a 606 (+30).
Nacho Gomez finished tied for 17th in the individual standings with a two-round score of 152 after closing out competition with a 79 on Tuesday. Gomez began play with a round of 73 on Monday.
Michael Robinson shot a 79 on Tuesday to finish with a 157 overall, Pablo Alonso registered a second round of 86 to finish at 167, and Nick McCann posted a score of 82 to round out the tournament at 169.
The Mountaineers are back in action on March 25-27 at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate.
