Men's Golf Tied for 14th After Opening Day of Lonnie Barton Invitational

Daytona Beach, Fla. (March 4, 2019) – The Mount St. Mary's men's golf team is tied for 14th following the opening day of the Lonnie Barton Invitational at LPGA International.

The Mountaineers posted a round of 319 as they currently sit ahead of Northeast Conference members St. Francis Brooklyn, Wagner and Saint Francis U in the team standings.

Nacho Gomez led the way on day one with a round of 73, which puts him in a tie for sixth place on the individual leaderboard. Michael Robinson registered a 78, and trio of Pablo Alonso, Matt Kinsey and Jack Snyder all shot an 81.

The Mountaineers play the final two rounds of the Lonnie Barton Invitational on Tuesday, March 5.
