MOUNT UPDATE
The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's swim teams return to action for the first since November 1st and 2nd where they were defeated by Monmouth and St. Francis Brooklyn. Kira Buchler was dominate in those two meets with four 1st place finishes. Senior Will Twizell paced the men's team with four 1st place finishes on the weekend in breaststroke. The Mount will look to bounce back this weekend after taking a three week hiatus.
FLASHING BACK
Last year at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational, the men's swimming and diving team finished third with 1,036 team points while the women's swimming and diving team placed fourth in the competition with 858 team points. The men's team finished 63 points behind second place Franklin & Marshall and 377 behind men's invitational champion Mary Washington. The women's team was just edged out of third place by York College by a margin of three points. Washington & Lee took home the gold in the women's invitational.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
The Franklin & Marshall Invitational will wrap-up the first half of the men's and women's swimming and diving schedule. The teams will pick back up on January 18th, 2020 at Howard for their first dual meet of the spring season.
