Mount St. Mary's Men's Tennis Downed Delaware on Friday

Emmitsburg, Md. (April 14, 2017) - Another doubles flight victory for Louis Tonon and Brandon Wortkotter pushed Mount St. Mary's past Delaware 4-2 on Friday afternoon.

Mount St. Mary's took the one point advantage from doubles action by recording victories in the second and third flights. Wortkotter/Tonon won another doubles flight making it five consecutive doubles victories for them.

Delaware recorded two singles flight victories in the second and third flights but the Mountaineers won the other three to take control of the match. Tonon's victory in the third flight clinched the match win for Mount St. Mary's.

The Mount hosts Hartford Community College on Tuesday, April 18 for Senior Day.
