Brooklyn Heights, N.Y. (January 28, 2017) – Freshmen Brock Cudahy and Will Twizell registered a pair of individual victories apiece, but the Mount St. Mary's University men's swimming & diving team fell at St. Francis Brooklyn, 123-90, on Saturday afternoon.
Cudahy placed first in both the 100 (48.55) and 200 (1:46.14) freestyle events, while Twizell took the top spot in the 200 IM (1:59.02) and the 100 back (54.68).
The duo were also part of the 200 medley relay squad, along with Vincent Huang and Eiann Bulatao, that posted a first-place finish to open the meet, clocking in at 1:40.39.
Huang notched the Mount's other first-place showing of the meet as the freshman won the 100 breast in a time of 1:00.78.
In the 1-meter dive, Bulatao posted his top score of the season (152.70) to earn a second-place showing.
The Mountaineers are back in action for their final meet of the regular season, at Loyola on February 4.
