DAY 3 RESULTS | FINAL RESULTS | FINAL TEAM SCORES
Lancaster, Pa. (November 22, 2015) – Mount St. Mary's University women's swimming wrapped up the final day of competition at the Franklin & Marshall Invitational on Sunday, finishing in third place out of 12 teams with 1009.5 team points.
Delaware won the invite with 1790 points, followed by runner-up Washington & Lee with 1403 points. Mount St. Mary's, Franklin & Marshall (775 pts.) and Saint Vincent (732) rounded out the top-5 in the standings.
Amanda Moore highlighted the Mount's night for the second consecutive day. After setting the program record in the 50-yard freestyle on Saturday, Moore followed it up by breaking the school's record in the 100 free on day three. Moore clocked in at 51.19 to claim second place and break Courtney Griffith's record of 52.17, which she set in 2012.
Haley Fournier and Sarah Bonson helped pace the Mountaineers, as the duo also claimed second-place showings on the night. Fournier finished runner-up in the 500 free with a time of 5:02.11, and Bonson followed by placing second in the 200 fly in 2:09.02.
Maddie McGraw, Moore, Fournier and Mary Lombardi closed out the night with a fourth-place showing in the 400 free relay in a time of 3:36.30.
The Mount closes out its fall semester of competition with a 4-1 record, and returns to action on January 16, 2016 for a dual meet at Duquesne.
