RESULTS
Staten Island, N.Y. (November 1, 2014) – The Mount St. Mary's women's swimming team completed a two-day stretch of competition with a 153-101 loss at Wagner on Saturday. Senior Erin Regan and sophomore Amanda Moore picked up wins for the Mountaineers on the day.
Regan bested the field in the 100 butterfly with a time of 58.84, which was the top time for a Mount swimmer in the event this season. Also competing well in the other fly event on the day, Regan took home second place in the 200 fly (2:11.27).
Moore was responsible for the Mount's other victory with a 54.26 finish in the 100 free. In the 200 free, Moore placed second in 1:59.58.
The Mount's 400 medley relay team comprised of Moore, Haley Fournier, Regan and JeMoon Won took second with a time of 4:08.48, which was the best for the Mount on the year.
In the 800 free relay of Juliette Lacoste, Won, Regan and Moore, the Mount clocked in at 8:06.65 to place second.
The Mountaineers will make their home debut on Saturday, Nov. 8, versus McDaniel at 1 p.m.
