Day Two Results
Daytona, Fla. (April 27, 2013) -- The Mount St. Mary's women's golf team maintained 10th place after the second round of the Northeast Conference with a team round of 335 on Saturday led by Nicole Fazio's low round of 80 (+8). The Mount's second round score brings the team total to 676.
Fazio picked up a birdie on par-3 12th hole and had the Mount's best score of 80 to place in a tie for 33rd so far in the tournament with a total score of 168. Fazio dropped eight strokes off her opening round 88.
Amanda Reach followed up Friday's 78 (+6) with an 82 (+10) on Saturday for the Mount's second-best total of round two. Reach is sitting in 15th place with one round to play with a total score of 168. On the par-4 17th, Reach scored her second birdie of the tournament.
Dropping strokes off her first-day score was Kelsey Hayward, who turned in an 84 (+12) after an 87 (+15) on Friday. Hayward is currently tied for 37th in the field.
The Mount's final scoring finisher of the day was Sara Fuss with her second round 89 (+17) to bring her total to 177, which is good for a tie for 46th.
Fairleigh Dickinson's Mariana Juaristi maintained first place with Saturday's 78 (+6) for a two-round 149. LIU Brooklyn's Alice Boothroyd moved up to second place with the low round of the day of 74 (+2).
Boothroyd's Blackbirds lead the team competition with 616 strokes. Sacred Heart is second overall at 633.
