The Mount St. Mary's men's tennis team cruised to a 7-0 win over Coppin State on Wednesday at the MSM Tennis Courts. The Mount improves to 5-11 on the season with the victory.

Mike Salomon earned a 6-4, 6-4 win over James Jeffreys at No. 1 singles while Taylor Place posted a 6-1, 6-4 win over Quincy Darko at the No. 2 spot in the lineup. Patrick Plastow cruised to a straight set win at No. 3 singles with Andrew Marinucci sweeping past Casey Pleasant at No. 4 singles. Justin Olexa earned a 6-0, 6-0 win at the No. 5 spot.

In doubles play, Salomon and Mike Zabetakis won 8-5 at No. 1 singles over Jeffreys and Darko. Plastow and Marinucci posted an 8-0 win at No. 2 doubles.

The Mount returns to action on Friday with a home match against Loyola.
