Moon Township, Pa. (April 2, 2011)--Mount St. Mary's was defeated 4-3 at Robert Morris in a Northeast Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon. The Mount falls to 4-11 overall and 0-3 in the NEC with the loss.

The Mount took two of three doubles matches to take the doubles point. Matthew Blake and Taylor Place teamed for an 8-4 win at No. 1 doubles while Mike Salomon and Mike Zabetakis earned an 8-6 win at the No. 2 spot.

Blake recorded a 4-6, 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles over Ricardo Horlle and Salomon was a 7-5, 6-3 winner at No. 2 singles over Andrew Coiro. The Colonials, however, took the final four singles matches to post the win.

Mount St. Mary's returns to action on Wednesday against Coppin State at the MSM Tennis Courts at 3:00 p.m.
