HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Christina Hall
(Wall, N.J./Wall) finished fourth to lead the Mount St. Mary's
women's golf team to a fourth-place standing after the first round
of the Holiday Inn Colonials Classic on Monday.
Hall posted a 43 on the front nine holes and registered a 39 on
the back nine to finish the afternoon in fourth place with an 82,
five strokes behind the current leader.
Sarah Roe (Floral Park, N.Y./Floral Park Memorial) (10th place,
86), Autumn Serruta (Avon, Conn./Avon) (18th place, 92), Megan
Corbett (Danbury, Conn./Danbury) (18th place, 92) and Abbey Fry
(Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) (24th place, 95) rounded out the Mount's
competing team member. Nicole Fazio (Lower Gwynedd, Pa./Gwynedd
Mercy Academy) (27th place, 97) is participating in the event as an
individual.
Youngstown State leads the two-day competition with a score of
322 while Robert Morris (339), Saint Francis (Pa.) (351), the Mount
(352), Toronto (370) and Niagara (386) rounded out the six-team
field.
Mount St. Mary's returns to action on Tuesday in the final round
of the Holiday Inn Colonials Classic.
