LORETTO, Pa. – Saint Francis (Pa.) defeated Mount St. Mary's 119-75 in women's swimming action on Saturday.

Kelsey Albright (Endicott, N.Y./Maine-Endwell), Heather Kurtzman (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air), Jeanne Marie Benedetti (Olney, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel) and Mary Beth Kasda (Woodbine, Md./Glenelg) each registered victories on the afternoon. Albright won the 50 free (25.99), Kurtzman took the 200 back (2:25.68), Benedetti finished first in the 500 free (5:47.51) and Kasda wrapped up the Mount's wins in the 200 breast (2:46.57).

Benedetti also finished third in the 1000 free (11:34.25) and teamed up with Paige Chenet(Berywn, Pa./Conestoga), Albright and Courtney Gaddi (Silver Spring, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel) to place second in the 400-free relay (3:58.08). Gaddi finished second in the 50 free (26.15) and Chenet was second in the 100 free (58.17) while Kasda placed third in the 200 IM (2:26.94).

Maggie O'Connell (Hagerstown, Md.) posted a third-place standing in the 200 fly (2:28.75). Eileen Coyne (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield Memorial) finished third in the 200 back (2:33.78) and Chelsea Marrocco (Matawan, N.J./Red Bank Catholic) was third in the 500 free (6:06.03).

Mount St. Mary's returns to action on Jan. 24 at home against St. Peter's and Howard. Meet starts at 1 p.m.
