LITTLESTOWN,
Pa. Christina Hall (Wall, N.J./Wall) finished seventh to
lead the Mount St. Mary's to sixth place at the Mount St. Mary's
Fall Classic on Tuesday.
Hall
came into the final round in second place after setting a
single-round program record with a 76 in the first round. The
freshman shot a 90 in the final round to end the competition with a
166, 12 strokes behind the medalist.
Megan
Corbett (Danbury, Conn./Danbury) finished 11th with a score of 168
after carding a 77 in the first round while Christina Koerper
(Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Mount St. Joseph Academy) (20th place,
176), Maddy Martin (LaVale, Md./Allegheny) (28th place, 184) and
Ananda Rochita (San Francisco, Calif./Lowell) (34th place, 192)
rounded out the Mount's Top-5 competitors.
Fairfield
won the two-day event with a score of 664, nine strokes ahead of
Long Island (673) while Fairleigh Dickinson (682), Saint Francis
(Pa.) (682), Hofstra (682), the Mount (691) and Robert Morris (706)
rounded out the seven-team field. The Mount shot a team-record
score of 323 to go into the final round with a share of the lead
with Hofstra.
