October 25, 2019--Erin Jaskot finished in first place to pace the Mount St. Mary's cross country teams at the Lebanon Valley Last Chance Run Fast Invitational on Friday. The men's team finished in third place at the event.
Jaskot completed the six-kilometer course in a time of 22:25.3 to take home first place at the meet, finishing a minute and 45 seconds ahead of the second place runner. For the men's team, Nicholas Hildebrandt and Christopher Diaz led the way to help the team to its third-place finish. Hildebrandt finished sixth overall with a time of 27:25.2 while Diaz was right behind in seventh with a time of 27:34.3.Elliott Lynn Jr., was 27th with a time of 28:45.8 while Collin Riviello was 28th with a time of 28:52.0.
Gettysburg won the men's team title with 33 points, followed by Messiah (68), the Mount (82), Lancaster Bible (92), PSU-Berks (118), Delaware Valley (160) and Immaculata (188).
The Mountaineers return to action at the 2019 Northeast Conference Championships hosted by Central Connecticut at Stanley Quarter Park in New Britain, Conn., on Saturday, November 2.
