Mount Men's Cross Country to Compete at Labanon Valley Last Chance Run Fast Invitational

MOUNT UPDATE:  Five runners placed in the top 20 to propel the Mount St. Mary's men's cross country team to first place at the Gettysburg Invitational this past Saturday.  The Mountaineer women's cross country team finished in fifth place at the meet.  Individually, Nicolas Fransham finished second overall and first among collegiate competitors in the field with a time of 25:54.9.  Fransham finished six seconds behind Kyle Wagener of the Pacers/GRC New Balance Track Club.  Will Merritt finished fourth overall with a time of 26:12.5 while Benjamin Finnigan was sixth with a time of 26:23.0.  Isaac Kole gave the Mount four runners in the top 11 with a time of 26:28.9 while Kevin Dorsey rounded out the Mount's strong performance finishing 21st overall with a time of 26:48.5.  Click HERE for more information.

MOUNT RUNNERS EXPECTED TO COMPETE:  Nathaniel Bald, Christopher Diaz, Paul Fagnano, Nathaniel Fechtig, Killian Hayes, Andrew Jackson, Johnathon Johnson, Ivan Korpics, Collin Riviello and John Wang are expected to compete for the Mountaineers at the meet.

NEC WEEKLY AWARD WINNERS:  Nicolas Fransham and Will Merritt collected Northeast Conference awards on Wednesday.  Fransham earned his second NEC Athlete of the Week award while Merritt took home his first NEC Rookie of the Week honor for their performances at the Gettysburg Invitational.  For more information, click HERE.
