After suffering a season-ending injury during the 2016 campaign, Heller returned to form last season, finishing with 24 points which was tied for fifth-most on the team. The midfielder also ranked fifth on the squad in goals (16), and third in assists (8). Heller tallied multi-point games in seven contests on the year, including a season-high five points (2g, 3a) in a conference win over Sacred Heart.

Carhart has racked up 32 goals and 37 points through her first two seasons with the Mountaineers after setting career-highs in both categories last season. Carhart finished the 2017 campaign with 22 goals, which was good for second-most on the team.
