MOUNT ST. MARY'S (2-7) vs. BUCKNELL (6-3)

MOUNT UPDATE: The Mountaineers take on Bucknell on Sunday at Knott Arena for the final home nonconference game of the season. Before jumping into Northeast Conference action, the Mount will head to Niagara for a Dec. 30 game on the road. Jacqueline Brewer leads the Mount and ranks 10th in the NEC with 13.4 points per game.
GAME DETAILS: Following Sunday's game, the team will hold Autograph Day on the main concourse of Knott Arena on the second level. Mount St. Mary's players and coaches will be available to sign autographs. The game will be live streamed on NECFrontRow.com where fans can watch for free.
LAST TIME OUT: Trailing by just seven points at halftime, Mount St. Mary's could not overcome a second-half scoring drought in an 85-60 loss at ACC opponent NC State on the road on Dec. 13. Senior guard Jacqueline Brewer led the Mount in scoring for the sixth time this season with 22 points on the night.
ABOUT BUCKNELL: Coming off an appearance in the WBI last season, Bucknell is off to a 6-3 start, most recently taking down Yale by a 73-66 final score on Friday night. Sporting a 4-0 home record, the Bison are 2-3 on the road with losses at Youngstown State and Delaware in the last two games away from Sojka Pavilion. Bucknell has used the same starting lineup in all nine games and is led in scoring by Claire Maree O'Bryan's 11.8 points per game.
LAST TIME VS. BUCKNELL: The Bison picked up their first win in the series by a 55-43 final score at Sojka Pavilion in Lewisburg, Pa. on Nov. 28, 2012. Mount St. Mary's suffered the defeat despite forcing Bucknell into 25 turnovers. Of the players on the Mount's current roster, Jody Chickey, Jacqueline Brewer and Jenn Carney all played in the 2012 game.
ALL-TIME SERIES VS. BUCKNELL: Mount St. Mary's leads the all-time series with Bucknell, 6-1. The Mountaineers are 3-0 against the Bison at Knott Arena and 1-1 in the series since Head Coach Bryan Whitten took over prior to the 2007-08 campaign.
MORE AWARDS FOR BREWER: Jacqueline Brewer scored a combined 50 points in two games last week to earn Northeast Conference Co-Player of the Week and ECAC Player of the Week for the Division I South region. Brewer's week included a career-high 28 points in a win over Coppin State on Dec. 10.
IN THE NATION: The Mount ranks near the top of the nation in a number of statistical categories. As a team, the Mountaineers rank 37th with a three-point shooting percentage of 37.1 percent. The Mount is also shooting well from the free throw line with a 73.6 percent clip, good for 44th in Division I. Individually, Jenn Carney ranks 25th nationally with a 90.9 free throw percentage, while Jacqueline Brewer checks in 57th in three-point shooting percentage at 42.2 percent.
MOUNT AT KNOTT ARENA: Mount St. Mary's, which posted an 11-4 record at Knott Arena during the 2013-14 season, is 50-50 at home under eighth-year Head Coach Bryan Whitten. Since the venue opened prior to the 1987-88 campaign, Mount St. Mary's has put together a 238-119 record. Over the last two seasons, the Mount is 13-4 at home.
