AS A SENIOR:  Recorded a 4.60m (15’ 1”) pole vault at the Akron Invitational to put him tied for 8th in school history in the Indoor Pole Vault…Registered a 4.76m (15’ 7.25”) pole vault at the Alan Connie Shamrock Invitational to put him 9th in school history in the Outdoor Pole Vault…Top indoor pole vault came at the Akron Invitational with a 4.60m (15’ 1”) mark.

AS A JUNIOR:  Finished third in the pole vault at the Northeast Conference Indoor Championships with a vault of 4.50m (14' 9")...Had a mark of 4.66m (15' 3.5") in the pole vault at George Mason...That puts him 10th on the Mount's all-time list outdoors.

AS A SOPHOMORE:  Earned Second Team All-Northeast Conference honors in the pole vault at the 2017 NEC Indoor Championships...Had a vault of 4.40m (14' 5.25")...Outdoors, had a mark of 4.51m (14' 9.5") in the pole vault at the Bucknell Team Challenge...That was the second-best mark in the conference during the outdoor season.

AS A FRESHMAN:  Posted season-best mark of 4.40m (14' 5.25") to take home first place in the pole vault at the Red Flash Open...Finished in sixth place at the NEC Outdoor Championships in the pole vault (4.30m)...Indoors, finished in fifth place at the NEC Championships in the pole vault (4.30m, 14' 1.25")...Made collegiate debut in pole vault at Navy in December.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Second all-time at his high school in the pole vault (both indoor and outdoor)...Named team MVP indoor in 2014-15...Second Team All-County outdoor in 2014...First Team All-County indoor in 2014-15...Three-time county pole vault champion...Central League pole vault champion in 2015.

PERSONAL:  Parents are Doug and Irene Waitzman...Has two brothers, Tom and Brian...Majoring in sport management...Born September 19, 1996.
