The men's 4x800 meter relay team paced the Mount St. Mary's men's and women's track and field teams at the Bucknell Gulden Invitational on Saturday. Freshman Genamarie McCant won the 500m dash to pace the Mount women.
Swisko added a second place finish in the 1000m run (2:31.98), Wilson a third-place mark in the 800m run, and Gruschow a fifth-place finish in the mile run.
In the field events, Jon Fernandez had a school-recordtoss of 16.43m to finish third in the weight throw. Alexander Gregro and Billy Lawrence tied for fifth in the high jump while Scott Rice was sixth in the pole vault.
On the women's side, McCant took home first place in the 500m dash with an ECAC qualifying time of 1:16.06 while finishing eighth in the 60m dash with a time of 7.94.
Helena Leyrer was fifth in the 60m hurdles and sixth in the 400m dash while Desi Scott added a fifth-place finish in the 500m run. Teika Robinson was fifth in the triple jump, Morgan Ostasewski fourth in the weight throw (14.86m) and Corie Scharpf tied for fifth in the high jump.
