Last time out, Mount St. Mary's carried play for much of the game but couldn't break through as Army pulled out a 2-0 victory. The Mountaineers outshot the Black Knights by a 6-4 margin and held a 6-2 advantage on corners in the contest.

The Keydets lost big at Campbell (6-0) and Saint Joseph's (5-0) in their two most recent outings, dropping them to 0-7 overall. Marco Reyes, Jonathan Martinez, and Willson Tuck have a goal apiece to lead VMI on the year. Goalie Broden Schull has posted a .627 save percentage while allowing 4.05 goals per game in seven starts in net.
