Northeastern University scored three times in ninth to tie the game and then once in the 10th to earn a come-from-behind victory, 7-6, over the Bryant University baseball team on Wednesday afternoon at Conaty Park. The Bulldogs took a three-run lead to the ninth thanks to a three-run eighth inning home run from redshirt sophomore Ryan Ward but Bryant's sixth error of the game allowed the tying run to score in the top of the ninth. Bryant left the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th. Ward finished 2-for-5 with a home run, three RBI and two runs scored. Classmate Jimmy Titus and junior Chris Wright also finished with two hits.

Mount St. Mary's and Bryant have met 39 times in series history with the Bulldogs holding a 35-4 advantage. Bryant topped the Mount 21-6 in the first round of the Northeast Conference tournament last season on May 24. The Bulldogs won last year's season series, four games to two. The Mountaineers picked up one win at Bryant and one win on their home field.

The Mountaineers baseball team hosts Sacred Heart for their last home series of the season on May 10 – 12 with the first game on Friday, May 10 at 12:00 PM. The Mount will honor their seniors before the game on Sunday, May 12.
