Mount Athletics is partnering with the Northeast Conference and other NEC Schools to raise awareness about Mental Health. This weekend the baseball players are wearing lime green bracelets to signify that those who struggle with mental illnesses are not alone! If you or someone you know is at risk please tell someone. Navy overpowered the Mount St. Mary's baseball team 11-7 on Wednesday afternoon. The Mountaineers' offense was led by junior Owen Wosleger who went 1-for-3 with three runs batted in. Senior Alex Kriss and sophomore Myles Nicholson recorded the only multi-hit games on the day for the Mount in the loss. Kriss went 2-for-5 with two runs batted in and two doubles while Nicholson hit .500 (2-for-4) with two runs scored, and two doubles. Senior Patrick Causa and freshman Trevor Leamer drove the other two runs in for Mount St. Mary's on the day.

ABOUT THE KNIGHTS
The Faireligh Dickinson baseball team racked up 11 hits in a losing effort against the La Salle Explorers Wednesday afternoon, 19-9. Evan McDonald and Sal Monticciolo each finished with three hits on the afternoon to lead the Knights at the plate, while Monticciolo's five RBI's set a new season high for the freshman.

The Mountaineers own a 52-47 record in the all-time series with Fairleigh Dickinson, and the Mount owns a 33-21 record in Emmitsburg. Last season, Mount St. Mary's won three out of the four games played at E.T. Straw Family Stadium.
