Somerset, N.J. (March 5, 2019) – Mount St. Mary's sophomore left fielder Myles Nicholson has been named the Northeast Conference (NEC) Player of the Week.
Nicholson filled up the stat line after he went 6-for-9 (.667) with a 2B, a 3B, 3 BB, 3 RBI, 6 runs scored, 5 stolen bases, and a .785 on-base percentage, while he also recorded a put-out, and an outfield assist. The Falling Waters, W.V. native was a catalyst for a Mount lineup that scored 28 runs during its two victories last week. In wins over Chicago State and Villanova, the second-year Mountaineer went a combined 6-for-8 at the plate with three RBI and five runs scored. The Mount sophomore reached safely, stole a base and scored a run in each of the Mount's four games.
