The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's cross country teams will compete at the 45th annual Paul Short Run, presented by ASICS, on Saturday, September 29, at the Goodman Campus Cross Country Course at Lehigh University. The Paul Short Run features 6,000 athletes from nearly 450 colleges and high schools. The day-long event includes 14 races. The Mountaineers men and women are competing in the college Brown races.
MOUNT UPDATE: Maddie Kole took home first place to lead the Mount cross country teams at the Messiah Invitational last Saturday. Freshman Brandon Nichols finished ninth overall to pace the Mountaineer men. For a full recap, click HERE.
LAST YEAR AT THE PAUL SHORT RUN: Nicolas Fransham finished in sixth place overall among the 132 Division I runners in the Brown race to pace the Mountaineers at the Paul Short Run last year. He helped lead the Mount to a sixth-place finish among the 18 NCAA Division I teams in the Brown race field. The women's team, led by top finisher Ashleigh Kocher, finished 12th in the field of D1 teams in the women's Brown race. For a full recap, click HERE.
